Does Vitalware have a web interface?
- Details
Vitalware consists of two key components: a suite of web applications for deployment in a browser across the Internet / Intranet / Extranet, and a client-server interface for use on Windows workstations or emulators.
The web applications, developed in Java, are used for data query, capture, update and processing. They service the needs of all external stakeholders and the general public as well as the registration and application-for-service submissions performed by Registry staff. These applications are deployed on a web server and accessed via a secure HTTP request.
The client-server interface also supports all of the transaction types supported by the web applications. In addition, it can be used by Registry staff for complex operations such as amendments, fraud investigation, etc. It is typically deployed on a local area network within the Registry head office where key employees and power users require the maximum functionality.
