We recognise the importance of an accurate and complete migration of all existing data. We apply a rigorous process to identify all legacy data sources and map each element of each data source to the appropriate place in Vitalware. Particular care is given to the relationships between records in the legacy system to ensure no data, explicit or implicit, is lost in the migration process.
As additional security, Vitalware includes an Original Data field. The migration process can load into each Vitalware record a copy of the original legacy record, in its entirety, which caused this record to be created.
We impose our intensive testing regime before delivering a test system to the client. This is then subjected to client acceptance testing.
Our migration process ensures that every legacy field value from every record and every relationship between records are captured and correctly represented in Vitalware.
